This course is designed for staff taking on the role of the fire warden/marshal. This can be designed to cover specifics to ensure correct delivery.

This course contains the following

• Fire alarm activation procedure and what to do if they discover a fire
• Theory session which shows candidates how to recognize the 6 main types of fire extinguisher
• DVD presentation on how fire spreads and what can go wrong
• Practical session in the use of fire extinguishers using our gas powered simulator
• DVD The role of the fire warden
• Evacuation Procedures

This can be made specific to your needs if required

• Taking a role call
• Good housekeeping and best practice
• A practical session looking at scenarios’ taken from real situations
• Fire risk assessment skills and carrying out weekly checks
• DVD Fire risk assessment in the work place
• An assessment which covers everything in the course to show a full understanding.
• This course lasts about 3 ½ hours
• Maximum of twelve persons
