Hot Works / Fire Watching Training Courses

Hot works fire training is a must for all people who are carrying out any work which produces sparks, excessive heat or other tasks in which a fire can be caused by the process they are conducting.
We first ran this course in 2003 for a nuclear power station on the east coast. Now, 17 years on, our training package is used in a variety of businesses. Our aim is to keep our courses interesting and entertaining. We are different in that we use modern training techniques with lots of candidate input, informative videos and demonstrations.

The course receives great feedback and everyone leaves having learnt something new. Even the very experienced have been surprised. Whether you are a self employed plumber or carrying out fire watching duties, this course is for you.

The course covers everything required to ensure hot works can be completed safely and efficiently. Examples of hot work permits are all discussed and we finish off with a practical fire training session, using our propane powered gas simulator which replicates class A, B, C and electrical fires.

We run the course on a one to one basis or for groups. Please ask our friendly team for further information on cost and availability.
